In Texas, the REPLICA legislation was signed into law on September 1, 2015. This made Texas the second state to enact the EMS Compact.

Current Commissioner Appointment

Commissioner Joseph Schmider was seated to the Interstate Commission for EMS Personnel Practice at the inaugural meeting on October 11, 2017 and served over five years as the Commission's first Chair. Commissioner Schmider remainds a member of Executive Committee as the Immediate Past Chair (non-voting).
