Pennsylvania’s Commissioner Elected Member At-Large of National EMS Compact
Pennsylvania’s Bureau of EMS Director, Dr. Aaron Rhone was elected as the Member At-Large to the Executive Committee of the Interstate Commission for EMS Personnel Practice. The special election was held on December 7 during a meeting of the full Commission.
“I am eager to work with the Executive Committee to make the compact more operational,” Dr. Rhone said. “The Commission continues promoting EMS licensure portability while upholding a minimum standard, following the laws governing EMS personnel practice,” he added.
Ray Mollers, the Compact’s Executive Director, said “I am excited to work with Commissioner Rhone in his new role as Member At-Large. Pennsylvania is the newest state to join the compact and Aaron is diligently working with his team to bring their EMS licensure information into the coordinated database while working with the Commission to mature the organization.”
