As the United States celebrates EMS Week, the Interstate Commission for EMS Personnel Practice (“the EMS Compact”) wants to extend our appreciation for all EMS professionals. The EMS clinicians are not only the backbone of their communities but also the foundation of the EMS Compact. Without these certified and licensed professionals, the EMS Compact would not exist, and those participating the Compact are not only making a difference in their home communities but also in other Compact states. To our EMS friends, we say simply “thank you” for all that you do.
