About Pennsylvania’s EMS System

EMS Compact Legislation

On July 7, 2022, Governor Tom Wolf signed SB 861, P.L. 477, No. 45, making Pennsylvania the twenty-second EMS Compact member state.

National EMS Coordinated Database Status

Pennsylvania is in the process of integrating with the National EMS Coordinated Database (NEMSCD). A connection to the state license management system is in progress, and an anticipated completion date has not yet been announced.
