About North Dakota’s EMS System
EMS Compact Legislation
Governor Doug Burgum signed HB 1337, the Recognition of EMS Personnel Licensure Interstate Compact, on April 1, 2019. North Dakota became the 17th state to enact the EMS Compact.
National EMS Coordinated Database Status
- 🟨 North Dakota is in the process of integrating with NEMSCD. An upgrade to the state’s Big Picture system has encountered delays, and connection is anticipated soon.
