Status: New State: Coming Soon!

In Connecticut, the REPLICA legislation (HB 5514) was signed into law by Governor Ned Lamont on May 14, 2026, as Public Act 26-13, making Connecticut the 26th state to enact the EMS Compact.

Implementation Status
Connecticut’s law includes a regional activation provision: Connecticut enters the EMS Compact no earlier than one year after the Compact is enacted in at least one of Massachusetts, New York, or Rhode Island. Until that condition is met, the EMS Compact is not in force in Connecticut and the Privilege to Practice is not active for Connecticut.

  • ⏳ Pending: Connecticut is not yet integrated with NEMSCD. Integration begins once the EMS Compact takes effect in Connecticut.
