The Interstate Commission for EMS Personnel Practice is pleased to announce an optional informational session on the proposed administrative rule changes for the Recognition of EMS Personnel Practice Interstate Compact (REPLICA). This session aims to provide an overview and background into the proposed rule changes. 

Session Details:

  • Presenters: Commissioner Joe Schmider, Chair of the Bylaws and Rules Committee, and Executive Director Donnie Woodyard
  • Format: Online Webinar 

Key Agenda and Proposed Rule Changes:

  1. New Section 10 - "The Commission": Outlines the criteria for new member states joining REPLICA, including guidelines for reviewing state legislation and protocols for appointing commissioners.
  2. Re-numbering of Section 11: Adjustments to accommodate the new Section 10 without introducing new content or changes.
  3. Section 13 - Compliance for Member States: Focuses on compliance monitoring, enforcement, and dispute resolution processes.
  4. Section 14 - Compact Implementation and Activation Date: Provides clarity on the timelines for implementing and activating the compact.

Interactive Q&A Segment: The session will include a Q&A segment, offering an opportunity to clarify any queries related to the proposed changes.
